The German Museum in Munich, one of the leading science museums in the world, is being modernized until 2025. Heine/Lenz/Zizka developed an integrated campaign, which accompanies the whole process until 2020. Our main task was to communicate to the visitors that during modernization, 25.000 sqm of the exhibition space are still open.
MOVIE »WISSEN ERLEBEN«
The Deutsches Museum offers a variety of exciting sights and makes science and technology in a fascinating way to experience. To communicate this, Heine/Lenz/Zizka has created a film together with Naumann Film. From the script to the casting to the shooting, the project was accompanied by us.
The film gives an insight into the exhibition areas Historical Aviation, Seafaring, High Voltage, Pharmacy, Physics and Planetarium, which are accessible during the renovation phase, and shows the exciting attractions awaiting the visitors.
The result is shown online as well as on the screens of the MVV and the cinema screens in Munich.
In addition, we can be proud of the first prize, which the film won at the Corporate Media Festival – even twice in the categories "Educational / Instructional / Training", "Cinematography" and ""Direction" at the Accolade Festival in California.
Filming and Editing: Naumann Film, Music: West One Music Group
The claim of the campaign "Auf zu neuen Welten" ("Towards new worlds") shows that the museum is changing. The bright blue of the visual leads visitors to the entrance in the inner courtyard, where they will be received by an information container with further details about their visit.
An extensive campaign in the city and nationwide focuses on the museum’s highlights and communicates that they are still open and accessible.
The Microsite informs extensively about the modernization on a regularly updated timeline of mile stones of the project. The content of the newly designed exhibition areas are explained to the visitors. Anyone who likes information on what is still open, finds out more at this point.
